The number one killer of enthusiasm in using a computer is the 'intimidation factor'. Not knowing how to do something and trying relentlessly to figure it out to no avail can become frustrating and very time consuming.       I have seen and heard it all in my many years of supporting customers with their computers and believe me it's not hard to conquer the electronic demon when you are shown how to do things the right way.     By the way, the excuse that  you are 'too old to learn' ~ rings no bell in the church of hope - as I have successfully trained many elderly customers to do things that rival the younger members of their families and friends!  In fact,  it is good for the health to keep the mind active.
